SEGD has developed an ADA certificate program, which consists of five courses. The final step (which can be taken at any point in the process) in receiving the certificate is completion of the ADA audit, which consists of documenting sign projects for ADA approval. The audit includes written specification, documentation, and enforcement criteria and has been reviewed by members of the ANSI committee as well as state enforcement officials.
